Crafting a Transformative Scale Model for the Jio World Convention Centre

The Jio World Convention Centre at Bandra Kurla Complex is the largest of its kind in India — a destination conceived by Nita Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries and Founder-Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, as a stage where business, culture and entertainment meet. Our brief was to translate that ambition into a single, legible scale model.

An Unveiling of Grandeur

Built under Reliance Industries Ltd., the convention centre is engineered for scale — and the model had to read at scale too. We composed the build to hold the three sides of the destination at once: the cultural openness, the entertainment programming and the business gravity that come together on site.

Redefined Possibilities

The centre is wired for what comes next — including 5G connectivity — and is designed to host everything from international conferences to gala banquets and arena-grade concerts. We treated the model as a viewing instrument for that range: a way for stakeholders to walk through the venue's possibilities long before the first event was staged.

Our scale model artfully captured the essence of this prestigious project, offering a glimpse into the multi-faceted destination — a confluence of culture, entertainment and business.

A Symbol of India's Growth Story

The convention centre arrives at a moment when India's place on the global stage is being rewritten. The model is small in dimension and large in intent: it carries Nita Ambani's vision, the city's diversity, and a national ambition into a single room where decisions get made.

Our partnership with the Jio World Convention Centre is, for us, a meeting of creative discipline and visionary leadership — and a reminder that an honest model can do real work in the story of a place.
